I'm not only interested in Weight Watchers and exercising. My latest obsession is - GASP - a TV show. I love British TV shows, but holy cow, I adore Downton Abbey. The storyline is riveting, the actors are all amazing (and good-looking), the costuming makes me want to be transported back in time. Well, except for the corset thing. And Dame Maggie Smith makes every scene perfect.
I watched season 1 on PBS the first time it ran, then in anticipation of season 2, I re-watched S1 on Netflix. I think I am actually going to buy the DVD's. I don't think I can stand to watch S2 play out over all these weeks, so my impatience is getting the best of me and I will be ordering the UK version on DVD.
The show makes me want to run away to England even more.
